Ruka is the official training resort of Finnish Alpine and Freestyle National Ski Teams. SkiSportFinland Oy and Ruka work closely together for the success of Finnish alpine and freestyle ski. It’s about strategic partnership, which is based on world-class training and competition settings. Ruka offers great training facilities and settings for amateurs and professionals alike.

Ruka FIS slope

The new FIS qualified competition slope starts from the top of Front slopes and ends at the Ski Stadium. The slopes profile is speedy, fulfilling the needs of the most demanding skier as well.

Ruka BatteryRun

Ruka Freestyle center consists of freestyle jump place and BatteryRun, which is one of world’s best mogul runs. The Freestyle Moguls World Cup is opened on December in the impressive 29 degree steep BatteryRun.

Ruka SuperPipe

Ruka BatteryPark

BatteryPark in Saarua is snowboarders and freeskiers favourite area of Ruka. The park has many lines with different levels of difficulties. The world’s best snowboarders and freeskiers also enjoy the great settings of the renowned BatteryPark.

Ruka Ski Stadium

Traditionally the World Cups of cross-country skiing, Nordic Combined and Ski Jump start at the Ruka Ski Stadium in Ruka Nordic event on November.
