STIGA SLED RACE COMPETITION

A relaxing slope programme in between a skiing day, or as a separate evening programme. Easy to combine with SkiBistro cosy dinners. The Stiga –race, in which anyone can participate with no prior experience in tobogganing, offers exciting moments and in a safe and gentle slope. Digital timing assures precise finishing times with the accuracy of a hundredth part of a second. Depending on the number of competitors, the event can be held as a Dual Slalom competition or as classic slalom race. Our professional commentator guarantees that the fun event will proceed smoothly.

INDOOR BANDY TOURNAMENT ON SNOW

The popular indoor sport brought outside on snow. About 30 square meter hockey rink can be set up near by Piste or SkiBistro slope restaurant. Depending on the number of people attending, every team has 3 or 4 players, but no goalkeeper. Although just hitting the ball in the bumpy snow can sometimes be a real challenge, in this fun event team spirit is much more important than pure skill.
 
 FUNNY SLALOM COMPETITIONS 

Relaxed slalom competitions are an excellent choice for groups, to whom having fun together is more important than seconds. Competitions are held in the very gentle Bistro slope on a Giant Slalom -type dual course. The participants can take part as individual competitors or as teams of two people. Additional funny rules will be agreed with the person ordering the programme.

GIANT SLALOM COMPETITION 

A traditional slalom competition is an excellent choice for skiing groups. The event takes place in the gentle Saarua slope area on a classic Giant Slalom style course. After the gates’ watch and practice run, there are 2 official timing runs for each participant. The winner can be determined by calculating times together, or taking only the fastest time of each participant into account. By using equalizing coefficients (handicap) everyone can compete equally regardless of age, sex, skill level or equipment (alpine skies, telemark skis or snowboard). Anyone can be on top of the podium in this competition.
