Many think that the steep Front slopes are the best part of Ruka with loads of speed and challenge.
Most competitions at Ruka are held on Front slope 2. Ruka Freestyle Centre and BatteryRun moguls are also located at the Front slopes. From the bottom of the front slopes you can easily take a chair lift to Saarua or Vuosseli skiing areas.
