Finland’s most popular park
Park riders are cherished with the ever changing BatteryPark, which has jumps, boxes, rails, minipipe and much more. MiniPark has small jumps and easy rails. BatteryPark and MiniPark form a wide area that consists of many lines with different levels of difficulties. Ruka BatteryPark has plenty of obstacles for beginners and experts alike and the park lives up to its reputation of being in shape every day!
Developing park and Park team
Ruka BatteryPark is constantly developed and the park is also changed throughout the season. The park has four lines for different skilled riders. Rail line for jibbing, small line with small 2-4 meter jumps and easy rails, medium line with medium sized 6-10 meter jumps as well as big line with 10-20 meter jumps. Park Manager Johannes Rinne and Ruka Park Team together take care of building, maintaining and developing the park. The Park Team consists of snowboarders and freestyle skiers, mostly local riders. Ruka Park Team riders are Antti Ollila, Henri Mustonen, Juha Mourujärvi, Emmi Parkkisenniemi, Emil Abdulin, Saku Tiilikainen and photographer Aku Kallunki. Other riders' ideas and feedback are taken into account when developing the park.
